I have a Wii with 4.3E system menu. Ive tried installing the Homebrew manually only to find out that the CD(DVD) drive will not read any of my discs. Does your soft mod require the use the CD(DVD) drive in order to mod?

Yes you can! Thats the exact setup I run. I have a western digital USB hard drive with all my games on then I just pick from the list on my Wii and it starts instantly. No discs required

Is it possible to download wii games on to an external hardrive and use the hardrive like a DVD with the SoftMod installed? Please let me know if this doesn’t make sense……
